We do not ask for a card, and it does not expire.
Whoever receives a branch comes in free: only the person sharing pays.

The same rules hold for the site and for the connected AIs: the limits are applied by the database, not by the app.

We are in beta: the free plan’s numbers can still change, but only for the better for whoever is already here. Editing an existing note does not count as creating a new one: at full quota you keep writing.
Two simple rules: going back to the free plan limits, it does not delete. Your notes stay untouched, and whoever received a branch does not lose access over a decision they did not make.
We tell you right away. Most failures are expired cards, not decisions: nothing changes.
The day before the block, another email. Fix the card, and nothing happens.
The notes beyond the first thousand all stay, readable and editable, and the attachments already uploaded are untouched: you simply stop adding more. The shares remain, but read-only. The history shortens to the free plan's. The AIs stay connected.
And everything picks up where it was: writing on branches, attachments, new shares, the long history. No notes or files were deleted in the meantime.
Never. A free account is enough. The plan is paid for by whoever shares: that is why the free plan includes three read-only shares, so you can see what it is like.
Because Pro's value appears when the context becomes shared work. Anyone using Cobrain alone can stay on the free plan; anyone collaborating pays a simple, predictable price.
Not yet: payment arrives when we leave beta. Whoever signs up now works on the free plan and is told when Pro switches on.
The company signs in with its own address (info@, say), keeps the company brain there and buys seats: €7 per seat per month, from 3 up, the first being its own. Then it assigns a seat to each collaborator, who has Pro for as long as they stay. Anyone who already had their own Pro finds it paused, and it resumes where it was the day they leave. The company brain's branches are reached through shares, as always.
You take their seat back and they return to the free plan, with their own Cobrain untouched: nothing is deleted. The company brain stays with the company, because it is in the company's name, not theirs.
You take them away whenever you want, including right now: they are .md files in folders, exportable in one go. There is nothing to convert.
You sign in with a link, connect your AI and start free. Move to Pro when you want to collaborate; choose Team when you want to extend it to the whole squad.
