Every guide is one screenshot per step, with the fix inside the step that can go wrong. They carry no date because they do not expire: if a menu is renamed, we change the guide.
The same address for all of them. What changes is the program's menus.
8 steps · developer mode has to be turned on once.
Open the guide4 steps · done from the chat, without opening the settings.
Open the guide5 steps · one line to paste, then you authorise in the browser.
Open the guide3 steps · like Claude Code, with an automatic bridge.
Open the guide6 steps · ask the agent to configure it, then authorise.
Open the guide4 steps · ask the AI to add Cobrain and follow what it tells you.
Generic instructionsYou start with an empty brain. What you already have, your AI carries in.
The first ten minutes: you connect an AI, ask it to remember something, and watch it appear. Where the notes live and what a unit's index card is.
ReadNotion, Apple Notes, Google Docs, a folder of files, an old chat: you tell your AI where they are and it moves them across. With the message ready to paste.
ReadA folder or a single note to a colleague, read-only or read-write. What they see, what their AI sees, how you take it back.
ReadThe seventeen commands a connected AI has at hand: what they do, what they touch, what they cannot do.
ReadIf it speaks MCP, it works.
Cobrain is a standard remote MCP server with OAuth 2.1 authorisation: any program that can connect to an MCP server over HTTP connects to Cobrain too, by pasting https://cobrain.space/mcp. The tools page has the message to hand the program so it configures itself. If that does not work, write to us with the program's name: we will add the guide.
It is free and no card is needed. You sign in with a link sent by email, connect your AI and start building a memory that does not stay locked inside a chat.
