On the free plan you build and use your brain with no expiry. Pro is for when you need more room or work with others: unlimited notes, attachments, a longer history, unlimited shares and one more person writing in your brain. Team brings Pro to the whole squad, on a single invoice.
We do not ask for a card, and it does not expire.
Only the sharer pays, never the receiver.
Made for agencies, studios and small teams. Clients and collaborators who receive a branch still come in free.
An agency or a studio? Until 30 November there is the founding teams offer: two months of Team for free, then 5 instead of 7 a seat for a year.
The same rules hold for the site and for the connected AIs: the limits are applied by the database, not by the app.

The free plan’s numbers can change, but only for the better for whoever is already here. Editing an existing note does not count as creating a new one: at full quota you keep writing.
Two simple rules: going back to the free plan limits, it does not delete. Your notes stay untouched, and nothing you shared is deleted.
We tell you right away by email. Most of the time it is an expired card, not a decision: update it and Pro comes back by itself, exactly as it was.
The notes beyond the first thousand all stay, readable and editable, and the attachments already uploaded are untouched: you simply stop adding more. Your 3 oldest shares stay open, read-only; the others are paused, not deleted, until you go back to Pro. The Team's brain, if you had one, can be read but not written until the Team starts again. The history shortens to the free plan's. The AIs stay connected.
And everything picks up where it was: writing on branches, paused shares starting again, attachments, new shares, the long history. No notes or files were deleted in the meantime.
Never. A free account is enough. The plan is paid for by whoever shares: that is why the free plan includes three read-only shares, so you can see what it is like.
Because Pro's value appears when the context becomes shared work. Anyone using Cobrain alone can stay on the free plan; anyone collaborating pays a simple, predictable price.
Yes: from your account you pick Pro or Team, monthly or yearly, and pay by card on Stripe. You cancel whenever you like, from the same place, and the plan stays until the end of the paid period.
Whoever pays for the Team has their personal brain plus the Team's brain, named after the squad. They buy seats at the price shown above, from 3 up, the first being their own. Then, from «Manage the Team», they give each collaborator a seat and choose where they write, some folders or the whole Team brain. Whoever has a seat also has Pro in their own brain for as long as they stay; anyone who already had their own Pro finds it paused, and it resumes where it was the day they leave. One person can hold seats in several Teams. People outside the squad read the folders you share with them.
You take their seat back and they return to the free plan, with their own Cobrain untouched: nothing is deleted. The Team's brain stays with the Team. And if the person paying leaves, they hand the Team to another admin, who takes it over by paying: the brain, seats and shares stay where they are.
You take them away whenever you want, including right now: they are .md files in folders, exportable in one go. There is nothing to convert.
